How I work

Lock change to BS3621 euro-cylinder (insurance requirement) — 45 minutes. Sash cord replacement — one weight pocket at a time, no need to remove the window. Draught-proofing with compressible brush seals around doors — eligible for savings on your heating bill. Smart lock fitting — Yale Conexis, Ultion, Nuki.

Questions

Can you fit a new front door lock?
Yes — euro-cylinder or mortice. I check your insurance policy wording first so the replacement meets your requirements, usually BS3621.
Can you repair a broken sash cord?
Yes — standard repair. One weight pocket at a time, no need to remove the frame. 1–2 hours per sash.
What about draughty old windows?
Sash and casement windows can be draught-proofed without replacement. Brush seals on the sash stiles, EPDM on meeting rails. Pays back in lower heating bills.
