Plain-English privacy policy. No tracking cookies, no marketing database, no selling your data — and a deletion request email if you want anything removed.

Who we are
Look'as Service is a sole-trader handyman business based in East Dulwich, London. Everything on this site and everything we do with your data is handled by Lukasz (the sole trader) — no agents, no third-party sales teams, no outsourced marketing.
What we collect
Only what you send us when you ask for a quote:
- Your name (so I know how to address you)
- Phone number and / or email (so I can reply)
- Postcode (so I can judge travel time)
- Any photos and description of the job you send
This site sets no tracking cookies, uses no ad networks and builds no profile of you. It does count anonymous page views — see Cookies and analytics below. If you don't fill in a form or message me, I hold no personal data about you at all.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry
- To prepare a written quote
- To complete the job if you book it
- To send an invoice afterwards
Nothing else. No newsletters, no "we miss you" emails, no sharing with other tradesmen or suppliers.
How long we keep it
Contact and job records are kept for two years after our last contact, in case you come back for repeat work or a follow-up. After that they're deleted. Invoices are kept for six years as HMRC requires.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You can ask me, at any time, to:
- Tell you what data I hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete it all (within the legal limits for invoices)
- Export it in a portable format
Email lookasservice@gmail.com with "Data request" in the subject line. I'll reply within a month (usually much quicker).
If you're unhappy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies and analytics
No cookies. This site sets none, and nothing here follows you across other websites — which is why you don't get a cookie banner.
To know whether the site is doing its job, I count page views using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It records the page visited, roughly which country the visit came from, and the type of device — nothing more. It works without cookies and without storing any identifier on your device, so it cannot recognise you on a return visit, cannot follow you elsewhere, and cannot build a profile of you. Cloudflare processes this on my behalf as a data processor.
The only other external request is to openstreetmap.org if you load the map on the Contact page.
